EMT Class

The Dickinson Area Ambulance Service will be offering an EMT Class beginning September 16, 2024.  The class will run approximately 5-6 months, with classes being held on Monday and Wednesday nights, along with some Saturday sessions.  Class will begin at 6:30 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Out of town students will be able to attend most class sessions via Zoom, but will be required to attend in person for some of them.  Practical skills will be demonstrated in class and must be mastered by the students in order to pass the course.

This class will prepare the students to take the NREMT (National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians) test to become registered as an Emergency Medical Technician.  Students successfully completing the class and testing will be prepared to be an entry-level EMT.

There will be an informational meeting held on Monday August 12, 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Dickinson Ambulance shop at 42 B Ave. East.  This meeting will seek to answer your questions and explain the course requirements.

The cost of the course will be $1,000.

Call 701-225-1500 for information and to add your name to the list of interested students.
